Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile Dysfunction Symptoms, Information And Treatment
Erectile Dysfunction is described as the inability of a man to maintain an erection. This condition is common among older men although it can also happen at any age. It is not a major concern if the man is unable to maintain an erection from time to time; however, if this is constantly happening, it can affect the relationship of the man with his partner and can also affect emotional health.
Before, the term for erectile dysfunction is impotence. Actually, it was regarded as a psychological problem than a physical problem. However, this was proven to be wrong because erectile dysfunction can be caused by chronic health problems. There are also instances wherein Erectile Dysfunction is caused by many combinations of conditions. Some men find it hard to disclose their condition to their health care providers because they feel embarrassed. However, it is necessary to seek the help of your doctor once you've experienced it because Erectile Dysfunction can signify an underlying medical condition that needs to be treated. Men who experience Erectile Dysfunction would often experience inability to maintain an erection that is sufficient in an intercourse. Occasionally, men would experience erectile dysfunction and this is considered to still be normal; however, if this is consistent, further examinations should be done to determine the underlying cause of the dysfunction.
